You have entered Silent Wolf's Domain...
Welcome to The Domain of The Silent Wolf. Everyone has a darker or deeper part of themselves that is hidden by the norm. Now, you must understand that when I say dark I don't necessarily mean evil. Dark can mean mysterious or unknown just as easily. Continuing with my first thought about the darker side... I, Silent Wolf, have created this domain as a place for the darker side to reside. At times I may ramble, but continue reading, there is a point at the end of all things intended to strike at something.
This darker side was created to enforce justice upon those who have done it wrong. They say justice is blind, but I say TRUE Justice has foresight and sees with 20/20 vision. You can read the following and be offended or you can read the following and begin to understand the wrongs that occur so often.
The Wolf has long been a symbol of evil, and although I don't agree with this misconception, I think it can be used to an advantage. Somewhat like an avenger of wrongs. The untamed wild beast, the part of the wolf that people have come to fear, can be used to illustrate a fight between good and evil. Almost a debate with The Wolf representing the down trodden and suppressed that uses fear to avenge itself. An underdog. Imagine that you are no longer a human. Put yourself in The Wolf's place. Now you are ready to read what I have written from the eyes of The Silent Wolf, the representative of the wild. They are his thoughts and feelings. I have simply written them down.
YES.... Little Red Riding Hood lied, and other myths misconstrued the true nature of our brother, The Wolf. But, is there any truth to the darker side of The Wolf? YES... but only the shadowy, half-demonic beast that peers out from the semi-consciousness of the human mind. This is the fictitious creature that has struck fear into man's heart for centuries. Something that has been told to children for generations, by parents who choose to tell lies to their children to instill a moral lesson. A bit ironic, don't you think?
It's somewhat like Santa Clause, only much more serious. The ancient tale of a jolly old man who bares gifts for the children of the world is merely a lie. One used to make children behave all year long. These children then tell their own sons and daughters. They were fed the same farce when they were young, why not pollute the minds of the next generation? Parables, fables, and illustrations are good to a certain extent. However, we mustn't rely on them to replace the truth. But that is exactly what we've done. Santa Clause became a reality long ago, and children believe in this deception until they figure out for themselves that he doesn't exist, and even then they pump it into the heads of the next generation, a continuance of deception and ignorance.
This is not the case with the myths and parables of The Wolf. The truth is never found out until someone shows you how wrong these fairy tales are. In almost all fables from the Eastern hemisphere the wolf plays the villain, representing the evil in the story, an evil that must not only be overcome but destroyed as well. Nothing could be further from the truth. However, when the children grow older, they grow no wiser to the truth of the matter and when a wolf is seen, it is misunderstood and feared. This fear must be vanquished and to do this man feels the wolf must be killed. This happened on too large of a scale up to not too long ago. Humans waged war on The Wolf and tried to bring about his ultimate end.
Humans only fear what they can't understand. Many problems arise from this. For instance... so many people fear death because they don't know what follows, or they have the wrong idea of what does. However, there are those of us who do know about death, and realize that it is only a part of this life. Having said that, wolves are misunderstood, and feared as well. This misunderstanding and fear was the initiative for humans to kill his brother, The Wolf. Too often it is also the initiative for man to kill his own kind.
Explanations.....You may now be wondering about my style of writing in this domain. Why I talk as if I am not human. Simple... Silent Wolf is not human, he is the part of me that sees the world through the eyes of The Wolf. He is an essence, a force, a belief, and an idea. This enables me to doubt man, this allows me to see the slightest faults of man, and allots me the understanding of what is not human. Anything else out of the ordinary? Oh...I'm sure many of you are wondering why I call The Wolf a brother. To answer that question I ask you another. Are we not all brothers, created by the same God ? I believe we are. It seems, however, that man is the only creature in creation, the only child of God that doesn't abide by the cycles of life, he has no respect for his environment or the earth he was given to care for. He hunts for sport and recreation, then claims that if he didn't that the hunted animal populations would suffer. Another stretch of truth. Something man has mastered. Man cares only for his well being and pays no mind to the interactions and forces of nature. Instead he tries to think of ways to stop these forces, and he strips the earth of its resources to sustain his own futile, meaningless life. But know this... In wildness is the preservation of the world. Without it.... kiss the earth and its life good bye.
You see, if I recall correctly, I believe that man was The Creator's last creation. Before man existed, all else existed without him. The six days it took The Great Spirit to create man were not literal 24 hour days. They were great spans of time, thousands, possibly even millions of years. Which means that animals existed before man, and for a long period of time. This proves, on a scriptural basis, that the earth and its ecosystems can easily exist without man.
Now wolves are protected by law, and rightfully so, all animals should be, whether endangered or not. It is the human population that should be monitored and decreased when needed. Sound a little cold hearted? It's actually more of a wake up call rather than something I feel should be done. Said only for spite I suppose. Get used to it. That's the darker side of this now speaking Silent Wolf.
